Add Subaru brakes to the front and rear of your VW.

Front brakes are available for these types :

  • Beetle/Karmann/Thing originally drum brakes – either balljoint, kingpin or 2 bolt strut.
  • Split window Kombi originally drum brakes.

Most Subaru front brakes are 5×100 PCD, suitable for Subaru wheels or requiring an adaptor to use 4×130, 5×130 or wide 5 wheels.

Sti Subaru front brakes are 5×114.3 PCD. The rotors can be drilled for 4×130, 5×130, requiring an adaptor for wide 5.

The Subabrakes front kit does not increase the track width.

Rear brakes are available for these types :

  • Beetle/Karmann/Thing – either swingaxle or IRS
  • Split window Kombi – swingaxle or fitted with IRS
  • Bay window Kombi/Vanagon/Syncro

Most Subaru rear brakes are 5×100 PCD with a 170mm parking brake drum and stepped rotor, suitable for Subaru wheels or requiring an adaptor for 5×112, 4×130, 5×130 or wide 5 wheels.

Some Subaru rear brakes are 5×100 PCD or 5×114.3 PCD with a 190mm or 210mm parking brake drum and flat rotor. The rotors can be drilled for 5×112, 4×130, 5×130, requiring an adaptor for wide 5. These rear brakes can be found on some WRX, Legacy H6, Tribeca and WRX Sti cars.

The Subabrakes rear kit for Beetle/Karmann/Thing/Split window Kombi increases the rear track by 25mm (12.5mm per side).

The Subabrakes rear kit for Bay window Kombi/Vanagon/Syncro increases the rear track by 50mm (25mm per side).
